Pixey Releases “Supersonic Love”

Liverpool singer, songwriter, producer, and guitar player Pixey is some new kind of a one-woman-band and her latest single “Supersonic Love” displays this perfectly in its never-ending spiral. 

We open with a giddy drum beat and a meandering guitar. The verse unwinds in a series of near rhymes foreshadowing an inevitable hook, “your love is supersonic.” And we fall back into that delightfully dizzying instrumental. In fact, the majority of this song is instrumental. There is a measured minimalism to this. Pixey refuses to get caught up in words when she does not have to— when her production does so much of that work for her. One things for sure, this song will have you on your feet, spinning around your bedroom, supersonically in love.
