MUST LISTEN 096

Every week, we’ll be bringing you Must Listen: a series that's a compilation of rising artists along with songs that must be added to your everyday playlist. This week’s playlist consists of emerging acts like K.ZIA, Porsh Bet$, and Justend. Turn on, tune in, and zone out.

From soulful R&B and acapella to trap & pop, K.ZIA takes you on a journey of thematics and energies on her highly anticipated debut album, GENESIS. One of our favorite tracks, “Home” explores themes of self-love, growth, community, and spirituality.

Teenage singer-songwriter, Anna Sofia, showcases a new, vulnerable side with her first single of the year, “No.5.” Contrasting the hyper-confident voice introduced in her latest release, “No Negotiations,” this new work sees the young songwriter facing fears and acknowledging the internal work it requires to be brave enough to face it.

NYC-based artist Justend returns with his latest track “Blue Lung.” Melding psychedelic R&B with hip-hop and rock, he is a multidimensional storyteller with no urge to fit within a spectrum of conventional music tropes. Justend effortlessly blends his inspirations into whole worlds, translating his late-night ruminations into musical journeys.

Hailing from, Sydney, Australia, multidimensional artist, VITA, unleashes her debut single “BADBADBAD.” The track blends together a slew of influences from Samba, Jazz, Pop, and Electronic while symbolizing taking your power back. With such a strong debut we’re looking forward to seeing what’s next from the rising star.

Singer-songwriter, Selene, expresses music as traveling to some unknown part of the universe and a magical way to get all the unexplained ideas out of her head. In her latest single, “Quien Diría”, Selene we witness her letter to say goodbye to romantic love, accompanied by iconic music video visuals.

Hailing from Madrid, Kirs Brown, is taking the Latin Pop scene by storm. In her latest single, “Disparo”, Kira shares a softer side, a  profound heartbreak through her touching Spanish lyricism.

If you’re looking for a new upbeat feel-good song, look no further. “Dance”, Jay Safari’s latest R&B-influenced track will transport you back to the 2000s in seconds.

Cardellino’s most recent EP, Room Session, is a homage to Argentinian music. One of our favorite tracks, he covers the iconic “Algo Contigo” by Chico Novarro, giving it his own modern and beautiful sound.
