Esteban Said - “Dime Si Tu”
Puerto Vallarta-based singer Esteban Said wrapped up 2020 by releasing his second Pop single of the year. In “Dime Si Tu,” Esteban shares with listeners of his dream to ask his crush whether she feels the same way about him, as he does about her. An accompanying whimsical video brings the singer’s lyrics to life as he and his crush flirtatiously frolic on a beautiful Mexican beach. Given Esteban’s unique touch to Latin-American pop, we’re excited to see what’s in store for his future projects.
Marlounsly - “Lie Again”
“Lie Again,” Haitian singer-songwriter Marlounsly’s latest single, is an R&B break-up record with a twist. With her euphonious sound, Marlounsly creates a song that goes through the motions of what it’s like to endure lie after lie in a taxing relationship. Having performed amongst the greats like Ella Mai, H.E.R and Summer Walker, we are excited for Marlounsly’s future, and know it’s one to keep on your radar as well.
Nia Ray - Sober
Fresh off of the success of her most recent single, 22-year-old Miami native Nia Ray is back with the release of her debut EP, What’s Love Anyways. The pop/R&B EP’s first track, “Sober,” is a relatable song to those familiar with the wide range of emotions experienced in a relationship. “Sober,” showcases Nia’s silky vocals, drawing comparisons to Jhené Aiko and Erykah Badu.
Edwin Arzu - “Euphoria”
Bronx native singer-songwriter, Edwin Arzu, creates his own unique sound by combining pillars of soul music and classic elements of R&B. Edwin’s talent and essence is captured impeccably in one of his recent singles, “Euphoria.” The track was written during a period of realization for Edwin: “we don’t enjoy the moment.” Surely enough, the sound this single has produced will make you feel as though time has slowed down - a seamless influence to enjoy this very moment.
Marissa Mur - “Mojo”
Mexican singer-songwriter, Marissa Mur, recently released single “Mojo” with Mexican artist, Caztro. “Mojo” is a refreshing yet romantic tropical-pop influenced ballad, both irresistible to sing along and dance to. Marissa’s and Castro’s vocals compliment each other flawlessly as they sing about that charm and uniqueness we all possess.
Tom The Mail Man - “Forever”
Sean Brown, who goes by the moniker, Tom The Mail Man, released his latest single, “Forever” this past Friday. The young up-and-coming rapper hails from Georgia and takes inspiration from the greats of Childish Gambino, Jaden Smith, and Drake. Tom The Mail Main, a multifaceted talent who not only writes and raps but is also an actor, model, and has a passion for fashion. We’re excited to see what projects his unique voice, style and originality create.
María Isabel - “Salt Water”
Queens native R&B singer-songwriter, María Isabel recently released her breathtaking debut EP, Stuck in the Sky. “Salt Water,” a track at the tail end of the EP, showcases the young artist’s Dominican roots as she effortlessly and poetically blends English and Spanish lyrics. The EP as a whole is a cure and an ode to those that are missing love.
Ambré - “Alone”
Before closing out 2020, R&B artist, Ambré, dropped a steamy single titled “Alone.” The track unquestionably has become a new bedroom jam favorite. Ambre’s sultry voice accompanied but the smooth beat will have you captivated and leave you wanting for more.
Savnnah Ré -“Solid”
Toronto-based artist and songwriter, Savannah Ré, released her debut EP, Opia in November. Savannah is quickly becoming one of R&B’s new voices, creating a refreshing soulful sound. “Solid” off of the EP, lures listeners with its golden melody and raw lyricism. The track is accompanied by a minimalist music video that captures the intimacy and emotion of this track.
