Berlin-based chuala is an artist not afraid to diffuse genre boundaries and push taboo topics to the forefront of her music, and her single “FMR” is a prime example of that. The song takes shape around female sexuality but from the perspective of asserting it, rather than protecting it. In today’s world it’s vital to have artists like chuala, giving space to challenge sexual norms through art.
